Offline Coding Education Empowers African Youth Siddharth Anbalagan and CYSDCAMorg Partner to Bridge the Digital Divide

Cameroon, 7th Oct 2025 — After years of volunteering with the Center for Youth and Sustainable Development & Climate Action Movement (CYSDCAM.org), Siddharth Anbalagan has developed a series of offline coding videos to make computer science education accessible to children in Africa — even in areas with limited or no internet access.

These offline lessons transform the way young learners engage with technology by compressing over 40 hours of instruction into 4–5 hours of engaging, simplified content. The program covers foundational coding skills, logic, and creative problem-solving, using visual and interactive examples that can be accessed fully offline.

Having collaborated with CYSDCAM.org for several years on various educational and sustainability initiatives, Siddharth was inspired to address one of Africa’s greatest learning barriers — lack of internet access. His volunteer work with the organization exposed him to the realities of digital inequality, motivating him to build a solution that ensures no child is left behind due to connectivity limitations.

Siddharth extends his deepest appreciation to Mr. Oforka Anslem, Founder and Advocate for Sustainable Development at CYSDCAM.org, whose leadership and mentorship have been vital in guiding this mission.

“Mr. Oforka has been a role model and constant source of encouragement,” said Siddharth. “Volunteering with CYSDCAM over the years taught me that real impact begins with inclusion — and that’s why I built this offline learning platform: to bring opportunity to those who need it most.”

Together, Siddharth and CYSDCAM.org are advancing a shared vision of digital inclusion, education equity, and youth empowerment across Africa — helping children gain valuable coding skills that prepare them for the future of work and innovation.
